VA pulls the plug on $77 million EV-charger earmark

VA has terminated a mandate to spend $77 million on electric vehicle charging stations at VA facilities. The money will instead be redirected to critical health care construction projects.

Mr. Najib was ousted from office and convicted of corruption in 2020 concerning embezzling a multibillion-dollar sovereign wealth fund. Last year, his prison sentence was reduced to six years, and his fine was lowered to $11 million. Additionally, in November, charges of misappropriating public funds were dismissed.   One wonders why there is such grief, criminality, and deceit within the world.
