Mr. Najib was ousted from office and convicted of corruption in 2020 concerning embezzling a multibillion-dollar sovereign wealth fund. Additionally, in November, charges of misappropriating public funds were dismissed.   One wonders why there is such grief, criminality, and deceit within the world.
