 Twin souls born under a ring of fire will either save the world or be the keys to its destruction by darkness. Prophecy. Magic. The blood of dragons. And the fight to prevent the apocalypse.


Twins Atreyis and Ehren were born during an eclipse, and their birth had been both a blessing and a curse. Their parents, King Toran and Queen M'Kua, had spent their entire lives ensuring they would be safe from the ravages of a war plaguing all of Ateléth for decades. But war has finally reached their doorstep and threatens all of A'luka'hāren. On the surface, it would seem the mad King Ultrek, King of Sarkenheim, is close to completing his vision of a grand empire, but unbeknownst to him, there are greater forces at play. One prophecy, two interpretations, and Ehren and Atreyis are at the center.

Former general of the Black Army, Kyren, suddenly finds herself at the mercy of the vile Queen Ýlea. Forced into a deal for her freedom, the general is sent after the twins. She must bring them alive back to the queen, or the curse placed upon her will do more than just force her to do the queen's bidding.

Additionally, in November, charges of misappropriating public funds were dismissed.   One wonders why there is such grief, criminality, and deceit within the world.
